Mind Your Language is a British comedy television series which premiered on ITV in late-1977. Produced by London Weekend Television and directed by Stuart Allen, the show is set in an adult education college in London and focuses on the English as a Foreign Language class taught by Mr Jeremy Brown, portrayed by Barry Evans,

Concerned that his students' English is not improving, Mr. Brown keeps them after class--so late that they are are locked in.

Jamila is arrested for shoplifting due to her misunderstanding the term
"free" in promotional material. Mr. Brown and his students work together
to return the stolen items.
Episode 6: "Come Back All Is Forgiven"
Ms. Courtney declares that Mr. Brown has not been performing well and
threatens to dismiss him and finds out that the new teacher is taking
over the school. Then Ms. Courtney dismiss her and bring Mr.Brown back
